On the 29th of May, the swedish company hitta.se released their latest webservice: a 3D map of Stockholm.
The technology behind this service was developed by the swedish company SAAB, and computer games software developed in Sweden.
More than 60.000 images were used to create the 3D map of Stockholm: an area of 200 km².

On of the most recent additions here at world-geographics.com is the new map section.
The maps was gathered from different resources on the internet, mostly Wikipedia and their extensive collection of World maps.
My idea is to make a easy-navigated map resource, where visitors can find different maps from around the world.
As a start I’ve added 70-80 maps of different countries, continents and of course: the world.
Feel free to help me expand this section by giving me suggestions on new maps.
If you know of a map that’s not listed here, and is available under a non-commercial license, please contact me and I will add it to my list.
